Elisa Xi Chen

I evaluate and identify policy interventions in educational settings that collectively enhance economic development and social cohesion, with a focus on gender and race. Methodologically, I develop computational methods to construct large-scale datasets from archival sources, employ causal inference techniques, conduct field experiments, and draw insights from behavioral sciences and the humanities.
