I study early childhood development, with a focus on measurement and the use of assessments internationally to assess the effects of programs and policies. I care about how we can ensure tests are appropriately contextualized and measure relevant context-dependent constructs, the usability of and in interpretability of scores, and relations between the quality of early childhood educational experiences and outcomes.
