Youngwon Kim
We are excited to welcome Youngwon to come work on text analysis as part of the received IES Grant "Practical tools for large-scale evaluation of text data in randomized trials in education" (R305D220032)!
Bio: I am a postdoctoral fellow in statistical methods for text analysis in randomized controlled trials (RCTs). My research focuses on developing and applying new statistical methods for analyzing text data from RCTs to advance knowledge in the field by pushing the boundaries of research methodologies and enabling more comprehensive analysis and interpretation. I also have a strong background in quantitative methods, with a focus on predictive modeling, multilevel, latent variables, and social network analysis.
I am passionate about educational and behavioral science research that advances equity and fosters social good. I believe that research can be a powerful tool for driving positive change in society, and I am committed to using my skills and knowledge to make a difference.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cat, playing soccer, and learning new things.
