Matthew Lenard appointed as Assistant Professor at Florida State University

 Matthew will join the Department of Education Leadership & Policy Studies (ELPS) at Florida State University this fall. At FSU, he will continue his research on topics related to career and technical education, college and career pathways, and applied causal inference methods. Matthew plans to teach courses in education policy, the economics of education, and quasi-experimental data analysis. Dae Woong (David) Ham Appointed as Assistant Professor at University of Michigan Ross Technology and Operations

David is to join the University of Michigan Ross Business School in the Technology and Operations group as an Assistant Professor. As a statistician, David was hired to bridge the interdisciplinary gap between statistics and business applications. He is also thinking about possibly getting affiliated with both the political science and statistics department at UMichigan to engage in interesting methodological and applied causal inference research. David is tremendously excited to teach, mentor, and conduct research with many amazing students and colleagues in his new role.
